Welcome to James, Kayla, Masso Kissed, and Willa!
Sister Sacral, Sister April, and Sister Ivana gave an overview of the sisters, our history, membership and how and why we do what we do. Secular nuns are not new, queer nuns are new, we use satire, but we’re not exactly a mockery of the Catholic Church.
Officer Reports
President:
Prototype of Headdress - will send pics out to slack. Finished but not polished. Open to feedback and suggestions.
Founding day - for us as the SCS and for SPI nationwide. June is coming up - pride month - going to be busy.
VP:
Membership Updates:
Things seem to be going wonderfully. Four aspirants, possibly two more. We want to close membership to new members - to discuss during open discussion.
All postulants have attended singing lessons.
Three have met postulant requirements and have met the vote to be elevated to Novice: Terry - virtual vote (7 yea, 0 nea) Alex/Sister CAL - virtual vote (7 yea, 0 nea) Brother Spyder Wulf - virtual vote (7 yea, 0 nea)
Mike Mohr second meeting and has met novice requirements, to send virtual vote prior to next meeting
Errol - needs one more meeting to be eligible for Novice.

Leather Dinner by Ms. Virginia Leather, Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 5 PM. Sister Sacral, Sister Tina, Father Malarkey Sister Sacral gave the blessing and was on a Q&A panel with various members of the leather communities in VA. Focused on how we can come together as a community to support each other.

April 5, 2025 - Hands off Protest - Waterside in Norfolk Nationwide, over 1400 protests with 5,000,000 attendees. Over 1,000 at waterside. Met up with Sevash - Southeastern Virginia Athiests, Skeptics, and Humanists. Sister Sacral, Sister Raiz Her Spikes

Upcoming Events
Manifestation for Easter today at Oceanfront Spikes, Padre, Sister Sacral, Father Malarkey, Kayla, Alex, Guard Ian
World Pride. DC sisters have invited sisters worldwide. May 17 – June 8, 2025 Invited and sent in forms to DC Sisters. Pride Parade and Events with the Sisters are Free. Sister Sacral to meet with DC Sisters to coordinate dates. Sister Spikes to talk to Felix to discuss lodging, etc.
Individuals need to arrange transportation and lodging. Sister CAL to take it on as a novice project to obtain
May 31, June 1 - Pride Kickoff and MJs Emailed John at MJs.
Saturday, Oct 18 - Mx/Monster Competition - Hopewell, VA Sister Sacral attending as a Judge. Sisters can probably volunteer to get in for free.

Sister Sacral - to donate Dildent to the group and create a book of blessings
Dildent - Sister Sacral needs epoxy. Silicone Safe Epoxy - Plastic and Metal Sister Spikes to help with assembly. Blessings Sister Sacral has notes needs to make it into a book. Wants to start with a Google Doc that's editable. 20 blessings. Guard Ian to assist -
Father Malarkey, Calendar and considering a second novice project Project mostly done, just have to iron out the works. To discuss with April to streamline the data.
Sister Traci - Need a point nun who can keep track of attendance Sister April - In their house, they have a master email "revelations", used to talk about events. She then takes the information and present to the house. Asks about who wants to be the point nun. Point Nun is in charge of the event, communicating those who plan to attend, and keep track of attendance. Point Nun - liaison between the house and those attending the event. Point Nun - to report on events at the next meeting instead of big group talking, 3 min max. -
Padre Hell-hound - Advertising materials for Pride (banner, pins, etc) No updates or needs at this time.

Sister CAL - World Pride Coordination Sister Spikes has a contact in DC. To work with CAL to coordinate. Include Sister Sacral.
Open Discussion:
Sister Gloria - Was a missionary for the house. Sister Gloria has decided to transfer away from the Seven City Sisters and become a Novice of the Weird City Sisters.

Ideally, structure should be: Aspirants - Under MoN Postulants - Under MoN and Big Sibling Novices - Under Big Sibling
Propose closing membership
- Close until vote by UNPC as fully professed house
- Close until Exequatur is completed
Concerns over closing membership too long, too short. We all agreed that a flexible date would be best, and in the event we find someone in the meantime who really should be a part of the house, two options:
- If they are really interested, they’ll keep coming out until we’re ready to accept new members
- We can also do a dispensation if the right person comes along.
Motion: Sister Sacral: Temporarily close membership beyond current members, novices, postulants, aspirants, and 2 invitees as we work on becoming a fully professed house.
