Jorge Lacott topic brought to exec session,Â
MoN reaffirms her stance, puts them for consideration for Jorge feels really comfortable, very regular meeting attendance, and has confidence in him.
Did have a conversation with him a while ago, good convo on facebook, went through the explanation so he could soak up that information, give him time to ponder. MoN was excited he was interested for sure, and would like to put it to a vote.
Sister Mary piggybacks, met him when they were a postulant, thinks he’d be a good addition regardless of which path he chooses, guest or member, whichever track, considers him a positive presence.
Malarkey feels good about Jorge too, looking forward to seeing what he does if he becomes a member, his track and how his creativity manifests itself as a sibling.
MoN mentions pace being individual, 1000 percent feels so much more confident in this decision
Guard Ian speaks to the dedication even while membership was closed, “it’s crazy”

Abbess encourages we start with Jorge on developing a resume, help him keep track of his own personal journey, assign them a big sibling with two sponsors to start, when you go to novice MoN assigns a third, so they experience multiple personalities.
MoN agrees, and after this vote intends to go into one of the chats in slack and request who is willing to be a big sibling to Jorge, and from that get Jorge’s consent.
Wants to be responsible in assigning, if he chooses someone that doesn’t want to participate MoN would like to avoid that.

MoN and Abbess discuss the need for Siblings to be present when they can.
Wants to see more manifestations like VA Leather, four members in face, five in total, felt empowering, amazing! The Sisters are Here. Encourages Manifestations, life gets in the way but try to make time. Especially with a new Posulant, if not for yourselves for the new kid on the block!
Abbess makes a point that having an underling encourages folks to do more, for the sake of the sibling, mutually beneficial, MoN concurs.
Doesn’t want to stunt potential.
Discuss reaching out to members who are a little absent. Life seems to be life-ing. Members discuss personal statuses, recent encounters, plans to comfort or guilt trip playfully where appropriate, want to see how they are, offer options and support.
Discuss current sabbatical statuses, and folks who might want to consider it.
Traci asks about sabbatical in P&Ps, encouraging support over heavy handed rule suggestions.
MoN clarifies on memory, but info tracks, inactive doesn’t immediately imply sabbatical, because it requires a request, whereas inactive is just not meeting minimum requirements.
We need to visit what it means post inactive.
How to become active status again is researched. Ian finds the info, secretary must send notice, details as to time are read.
One member may need notice, details as to addresses on record, how to reach out.
