Meeting will be abbreviated due to World Pride and scattered attendance.

Discussions ongoing in slack regarding Aspirants wearing full white face and dispensations. This will be addressed by the board in the near future to ensure consistency.

Sister Cecilia Upton Noella Thompson has requested to come out of sabbatical.
Ivana: Motion to restore to novice, Second, no discussion. motion passed unanimously. \

Sister Cain Tuckee is considering a sabbatical. They will report back on that next month.

Financial Report:


Financial report posted. $150 charge to upgrade our tent to 10x20 for pride with SVA-PAH.
($75 pending deposit from SVA-PAH for their half.)

HR Pridefest charged us $300 mistakenly for the upgrade, but they quickly refunded $150 of it.

Sister Ivana asked about two Zeffy transactions totalling $115. $75 is from SVA-PAH for the pridefest tent upgrade, the rest was a donation by Sister Memento Moria. Both will hit our account tomorrow, June 9.

P&Ps/Bylaws: (10 minutes)

Sister Ivana, wants everyone to read the proposed P&Ps and come up with 3 things to make it for your own. Sister April brought up communication is the issue with the house. P&Ps need to be our house voice and not just something written by a committee.

Open Discussion: (Limit to 15 minutes)

Sister April and Sister Traci are starting a big sibling/mentor program. They will be pairing everyone up with a fully professed sister in another house to act as a big sibling, since founders often miss that experience. Siblings should attempt to communicate at least monthly with their big sibling. April/Tracy to reach out to introduce people to their new big sibling.

Executive Session:

House voted to form two committees:

  • Safety Committee (with Padre Hell-hound as Chair)
  • Fundraising Committee (with Guard Ian as Chair)

Please reach out to the chairpersons if you’re interested in serving on either committee.

Board to have executive session to discuss safety and put together recommendation for the house for the next closed session.

Next meeting date - July 13. We have the LGBT Life Center again.
