Abbess picks up meeting with report after MoN

Topic of books and a safe family get together are continued and picked back up.

Makes a suggestion of a private pot luck, get the copies of the books out.

Wants to get together with sacral, speaks to bonding with peers.

Grateful to the words of love and kindness during difficult times, losing a loved one and family conflicts. It’s been a rough few months.

MoN gives a quick recap.

Mistress of Novices (Vice President):

Sheets requests, Willa could be removed. Suggesting manifestation tab similar to meeting attendance. Father Malarkey suggests this could be migrated from manifestation reports already existing.

Details the 2/3rds rule for Manifestation, how additional numbers can validate a general manifestation for the house but for it to count in your favor as a manifestation to meet membership requirements of the Mission Order.

Members can represent other organizations while in face. MoN requests and encourages if you’re out and about and able please manifest by the 2/3rds rule.

Yesterday’s (1-10) CRPs meeting

Meeting was great and on track with time considerations. Introduced by Kim and Tracy. Sister Sirena of the Weird City Sisters in Austin Texas went over CRP, via a VERY Sisterly powerpoint, MoN highly recommends you watch, and after a break assisted meeting attendees in practicing CRP. MoN details how useful it is during creative projects, (novice, blessing, otherwise). Again encourages everyone go through the materials emailed by Kim,

After some months and finally finishing NVC, they believe this material should be a highly encouraged read in order to elevate. They’re hesitant to make it a requirement. May provide a recording, but offers options for those who digest literature differently. Goes into detail about how long the material might take to read, and how individuals can approach the workbook aspects and joint projects there in.

There is some general discussion about gaining access to the books.

Malarkey suggests he can distribute when he “crawls up sister spike’s butt”.

And Spikes matriculates.

Ivana arrives and says they’ll get thing squared away, wants to set up a dinner night. See President’s report.

Abbess got six of the care packages distributed at TDOR, perhaps during family dinner we can finish up those items, perhaps put a table out, suggestions for events that would assist or encourage. Malarkey says he can send deets if he finds anything during calendar updates that might work.

MoN mentions Nighthawks and PAH will be combining for Valentines, to see if we can set up a table, ALso Bears, Also other orgs, discussed in detail.

Abbess remarks on their impending completed novice project.

The Virginia Women’s Leather letter will be given by Sister Tina.

New Business

Plans regarding previous intent to discuss something between MoN and Abbess, regarding siblings, sponsoring mentoring, gifting a piece of jewelry. Idealing thrifted, no more than twenty bucks, when gifted it can enhance indication of persona? Radical fairies origin.

Abbess grabbed pieces for everyone in the house that represents each sibling. Wants to gift during potluck dinner.

The idea is bonding with your big sibling, Abbess intends to write it up.

Open Discussion: (Limit to 15 minutes)

Canteer discusses an interest in working on some things on the IT side to make advances to benefit the MO.

MoN brings up the sheets to keep up with manifestations and how it will help, and also assist with historical record, and also using sheets to detail relationships in house (mentors), if they completed the book, a reading list, what books they’ve read….. Wouldn’t go so far as to expect book reports. NVC encouraged again.

Goes through thoughts on not making it mandatory, abbess suggests not weaponizing it, Malarkey offers the counter having requirements/trainings to interact with the public he doesn’t interpret requirements to be a weaponized thing. Are there other ways to provide the training, and safely hold expectations, representing SIP at large.

Mentions the danger of the times, the importance of having some requirements for elevation, saying we are inherently provocative by nature.

Suggests developing training, how we respond to several social elements of concern.

Brother Canteer, while we’re working on the elevation process, we could make amendments regarding transition, you have supportive training.

Abbess speaks to postulant stage starting on such topics, the basics, but as you continue you fine tune the rest of the communication aspects and how to interact with the public. It’s a matter of how we choose to do it (singing lessons/workshops).

Momma Nora, temp broken up not understood. Something regarding the subject is great for structuring those mentoring relationships, certainly against weaponizing but the lessons are certainly important, and most learn by sharing with others. Let’s drop the weaponizing language

And use our resources.

MoN simply expresses how they really don’t want their words used in the future to hold people back or haze them. Malarkey expresses that MoN’s heart is absolutely in the right place and that’s why they’re a great MoN.

He likes the idea of making these lessons the nature of the house, a mutual accountability.

Malarkey: Let’s make sure hazing never becomes a part of our culture.

Momma Nora: Yes, right on track, this is how missions are built, that’s how this works, you share what you know and learn with those coming into the house.

MoN expresses gratitude, knew we could get to a place of understanding

Momma: You’ll know when the time is right, you’ll instill this belief in the Culture of Sisters

Mary asks as to details of elevations, are they still frozen.

MoN intends to unfreeze elevations next meeting as quorum isn’t met, Brother Canteer asks if it can be a poly vote on slack, everyone agrees we should be able to get that done.

MoN details requirements from postulant to novice.

Manifestations are as important as attending meetings (it’s kinda what we do).

Learning is fundamental, an unwritten rule, get to know the other members. We’ve elevated prematurely before so we’re still a work in progress.

Brother Canteer brings up the topic of crediting volunteer work during the subject of manifestations, and his peers suggest while you’re present wearing just two items counts towards manifestation, there is also some concern with measuring far too many things and the tediousness of that.
