• Abbess: -Hunky Jesus film screening in Durham: attended by Ivana, Sister Sacral, Sister Zsa Zsa, Sister Raven Biatch, Sister Bianca
  • Film well-received; covers Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence broadly, centers on Hunky Jesus Festival at Dolores Park
  • Novice project update(Ivana: Queer Care’s Closet debuted at Norfolk Pride
  • Supplies dropped off at TAP Virginia (The Transgender Assistance Program of Virginia), STRC (Southeastern Transgender Resource Center), and the Life Center
  • After-action write-up still pending
• Singing lessons: on hold due to personal circumstances (Sister Sacral’s father)
  • Plan to set a fixed Sunday date going forward; notes distributed to those who can’t attend
• Radical Fairy research: carried forward; documentary exists online (access available if needed)

  • $1,972 deposited from Zephyr (Sunny and Michael campaign)
  • $6,509 check posted for Sunny and Michael fundraiser

Fundraising and Upcoming Events

• Spooky season fundraiser floated: 50/50 raffle or random manifestation with items on hand
• SVA-PAH’s Alebrijes Unleashed (Día de Muertos/Day of the Dead): November 7th at MJ’s
  • Annual event previously spearheaded by a member now in DC; SVA-PAH taking it on
  • Possible volunteer arrangement with a share of Jell-O shot or ticket sales as a fundraiser for the sisters
  • Guard Ian to bring up a standing annual collaboration between SVA-PAH and the Sisters to the SVA-PAH board
• Virginia Bear Contest: November 21st at 37th and Zen
  • Howard expected to request a blessing again; house should prepare one and assume it’s happening annually

Hunky Jesus Film Screening at ODU

• Screening at Virginia Queer Film Festival: October 3rd, University Theater at ODU
  • Festival runs October 2nd–4th; exact time confirmed as 5:15–7:00 PM
  • Arrive by 4:45 PM; 30-minute pre-screening gathering for photos and step-and-repeat
  • 5 minutes before screening: brief pre-screening blessing delivered
  • 20-minute onstage Q&A after the film
• Sacral is house contact; festival contact TBD
• Comp tickets: number of attendees needed soon
• Sister Adora coordinating for the full org
• Registration sheet and event details to be posted in a dedicated Slack channel
• Media kit to be shared on house Facebook; sisters with personal socials encouraged to post

Executive Session

• Motion to grant dispensation to elevate Cleric Ace without required resume documentation (Sister Sacral, seconded by Sister Ivana): No questions or discussion. Motion passes unanimously.
  • Cleric Ace to update resume documentation after the fact
  • Attendance record confirmed: only one meeting missed in the past year
• Motion to elevate Cleric Ace from Postulant to Novice (Motion by Sister Sacral, seconded by Sister Mary): No questions or discussion. Motion passes unanimously
• Going forward: novices and postulants to maintain their own resumes; MoN to stay on top of this
• Sister resume template to be created: fillable PDF, kept light-spirited (not overly corporate)
  • Resumes for all current novices to be completed and linked from the elevation page on the website

P&Ps Vote and Application Prep

• Conflict resolution section is incomplete (notes from a review, not a finalized document)
  • Plan: approve P&Ps as-is, add finalized conflict resolution section later
  • All other sections are in the working Google Doc, last updated August 10th, 2026
  • Changes between v2.0 (last approved) and v2.1 (proposed) documented in the P&P discussion channel
• Vote process agreed:
  • Guard Ian to post a clean PDF of the proposed P&Ps (sans conflict resolution) to the Novices voting channel
  • Deadline: 12:30 PM on the next meeting date (October 13th, 2026)
  • Members can vote anytime between now and the deadline; discussion via threaded comments
• Application prep update (from Kim Boocha):
  • Recommendation: consolidate all application materials on one website page with hyperlinks
  • Makes it easy for UNPC reviewers (many not technically inclined) to find everything
  • Examples shared by Kim:

  • Mini docuseries idea floated: 2–3 minute intro videos from house members

• UNPC trademark update (informational, no immediate action):
  • San Francisco house will pass legal fees for trademark renewal onto houses every ~10 years
  • Current estimate: $750 per renewal cycle (subject to change)
  • First license term (for new houses) covered by SF house; subsequent ones the house’s responsibility
  • Suggestion: budget $100/year so $1,000 is set aside by renewal time
  • Ongoing discussions about whether SF house retains the trademark or transfers to an external entity
