  • 501(c)(3) Status - Pending - Under second review process. Expecting to hear something within next 1-2 months on status.

  • Discussion on proposed bylaws

  • Tim Riggs - Suggestion to change verbiage to specify a specific version of Robert’s Rules of Order to prevent confusion.

  • Motion to change article III, Section 9 from “GM meetings, although informal, shall be conducted with The Robert’s Rules of Order” to “GM meetings, although informal, shall be loosely conducted with the current version of Robert’s Rules of Order”. Motion passed unanimously (7 yeas, 0 nay)

  • John – Next Steps for Missionary Order

  • John has reached out to the Abbess of The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. They got him in contact with a committee who is helping work through getting us set up as a missionary order. Big tasks are already in the works (State/Incorporation, Federal/IRS/501(c)(3), Bylaws, Policies and Procedures), add they’re going to get us additional steps and paperwork.

  • Attire

  • Motion to create a new “Attire Committee”, reporting to the board of directors, to design coronettes, formal attire, and propose attire expectations, for proposal in GM Meetings.

  • Initial Members: Guard Naw Just Us, Sister Cain Tuckee, Sister Sacral Idgits DeMonica Influencia, Sister Gloria Holes

  • Motion approved unanimously (10 yea, 0 nay)

  • Finances: Not opening bank account/merchant accounts until we get 501(c)(3) determination letter. Will revisit once we have letter.

  • Annual Meeting/Elections - Tentatively planning for December nominations/elections - will elect new board/officers once we get the 501(c)(3):

  • Founding Members: Considered Fully-professed Members (FPM) by bylaws purposes of voting, elections/offices, etc. Board reserves right to provide additional restrictions/requirements for Founding Members that must be completed prior to the third annual meeting.

  • Discussion regarding Rachael Hernandez - interactions in facebook messenger group/experience with Knight Hawks of Virginia.

  • Group agreed that we need to keep drama from other clubs out of the Sisters.

  • Group agreed to consider her as a founding member.

  • Unless we hear otherwise from her, we’ll consider her on the membership roster to be on a sabbatical. 

  • Sister Sacral Idgits DeMonica Influencia to draft communication to Rachael to let her know she is still welcome in the group, to outline her rights for sabbatical under the Bylaws/PNP, and to bring notice for her rights on conflict resolution in the event a future situation comes up. Sister Sacral to communicate the date/time/location of the next meeting to Rachael.
