Meeting called to order by Ivana at 12:15 PM.

Guests Introduction

Ryan Flanagan, heard about the sisters through Guard Ian and Sister Cain Tuckee, interested in learning more about drag, particularly bearded drag.

Jorge Lacott “Jae” or “Pup Chiron”. He’s learned about the sister through Sister Sacral but frequently sees us out and about.

Sister Ivana: Confirmed that Guard Ian is taking notes until Father Malarkey Arrives.

Co-Mom/Mentor Updates

Ivana welcomes Sister Nora and Kim Boocha, our Co-MoMs. And made a joke about accidentally almost calling Nora Torius “Sister Nora Virus”. Kim agrees that Sister Nora Virus would be a great name.

Sister Kim Boocha to review notes from previous co-mom meeting and steps for 30 and 90 day goals.

Nora: One of the original goals was use of Roberts Rules of Order - Nora has seen that applied, and noticed several copies of it floating around from her visit. Kim notes seeing it being used in our chats through virtual votes.

Nora: Another 30 day goal was communication, identified issues with people not communicating directly with people. Nora has seen us working on issues for ourselves and not running to the mentors and Co-MoMs.

Kim noted that communication in chat seems to be improving, things have been a bit more quiet. People are bringing up their questions and concerns, and constructively addressing concerns. She noted that we wanted to see us communicating with each other, but they are still there to bounce ideas off of us as well. They are always there if we have questions or thoughts on things. Always around to share their perspective, but will typically direct us to our own procedures on the matters.

Sister Traci noted she’s seeing a lot of bonding. She noted that she appreciates things changing from asking for her “opinion” to asking for “perspective”.

Nora: Noted that there was previously a lot of focus on negative aspects of house members. She encouraged us to focus on people’s strengths. Seeing more “I” statements, and things are improving to be more positive. Kim: The I statements are working, things are becoming more constructive and positive. It’s working.

Traci: Major increase in respect for each others’ feelings. That’s huge - many mission houses miss that at first. She applauds us for that.

Nora: Building a cohesive team. There was some question about board positions and leadership. Getting defined members to do what they need to do in the house. New secretary, filling open board position. Nora: Finding new ways to manifest and work on new ways to impact the community. That’s one that we can still work on over the next 60 days. She’s super proud of us, and really wants to emphasize that. So grateful for her visit and the ability to meet us in person - she fell in love with each and every one of us. Traci: Diversity in the venue of manifestations. Still bar centric, but it will come in time. Story time with kids, blessings in the park with Daddy Neptune, etc. Nora: Got to witness blessing with the Dildent with Daddy Neptune during her visit with us. Got to experience Sister Sacral. Nora: One more goal - 2/3 rules for manifestation. Of Makeup, clothing, and nametag, have at least two of three. If mish face, maybe consider a uniform and/or nametag. Kim: Diversification of manifestations, she encourages us to make more non-bar events as a goal for a future. Some houses have a rule like that.

Nora: Last item was the P&Ps. Working on the P&Ps is being done, we’re following them more equitably, and not weaponizing them. Hopefully we can give her an update on that. Looking for another update in the next 60 days, not that it’s a deadline.

Traci: Father Malarkey and Ivana have been reaching out for verbiage and working on it section by section, she didn’t pass that onto the Co-Moms and she apologizes for it.

Ivana: Working on a few sections of the P&Ps still, which were supposed to be coming before the house for this meeting, so we’re going to have to table that until the next meeting.

Nora: She has seen a lot of progress and is satisfied with our work over the past 30 days.

Kim: She has also seen a log of progress, seeing more insight being shared, great work with recent visit with Nora. It’s been really cool to see us evolve as a house. Way to go!

Traci: Very happy with the progress, it’s been a tumultous month, and we’re becomign stronger because of it and learning to love each other again. Definitely seeing communication improve and can’t wait to see us moving forward.

Nora: That covers the 30 day check in. They’ll check in on us at the next meeting for progress. Continue to be organized, work on tasks one-by-one, work on the P&Ps as you have time.

Traci: One more thing, South Florida Sisters will be sending 15 copies of Non-violent Communication book. SFS has donated them to the Co-MoMs. Going to set up a library checkout card in there. Encourage us to read a chapter a month and talk about it as a house. When we’re done, send it back to a Co-MoM so they can share it with another house.

Nora: To leave one copy to MoN for educational purposes. Sacral confirms she has it.

Kim: Traci has read it, Kim and Nora are both currently reading it. Going to use it as a tool for the rest of the mission orders, as it’s helping everybody so far.

Ivana: Very tumultous month for sure, She is proud that we’re moving forward and making progress, proud of everyone in this order.

Previous Meeting Minutes

2025-07-13 - Monthly Meeting Ivana: Motion to approve previous meeting minutes, Second by Sacral. Not additions or corrects, passed as posted.

New Business

Officer Reports (Limit to 3 minutes per report - 15 min total)

Abbess (President):

Ivana: Very tumultuous month for sure, She is proud that we’re moving forward and making progress, proud of everyone in this order. She doesn’t have much, a few things to bring up in old business.

Ivana: Sidebar conversation, the spidey senses were off, apparently, more on that after the meeting.

Mistress of Novices (Vice President):

She was going to cover the books as a part of MoN, since that’s a responsibility of MoN. She’s very excited and happy with the South Florida Sisters for donating these to the Co-MoMs. She would like in slack before the next meeting to come up with dates for a Communications retreat. Whether it’s next month, or after we finish the book.

Singing Lessons: The last singing lesson conducted was very one-on-one. Next one should be a group thing. Knowing everyone’s schedules would be helpful. Ideally, would like to have it at end of September ideally, or at least before December.

Ivana: Recommendation since it will be a house event, push it two months out. Gives people time to arrange schedules first.

Sac: Going to post in slack to see what schedules are like, then come up with a date based on that. Cleric: Requested that we don’t do it during October, since they work in a haunted house. Sac: Definitely, we’re going to consider everyone’s schedules, September was a goal but may not be feasible.

Between now and then, she’s going to send out things for us to watch and read. Not mandatory, but stuff that will help prior to the singing lesson. Pushing it further back, will give her more time to prepare.

Safety Committee

Ian: Should we elect a replacement for Safety Committee chair now that Padre has stepped down as chair? Some members of that channel can step in to recap what’s already been discussed.

Old Business

Veil of Shame

Ivana for Cecilia, need to burn that asap. Can’t burn it on the beach. Sunny and Tina had offered at one point, need to reach out to confirm if that’s an option. Participation isn’t mandatory, but greatly preferred.

P&P Documents

Ivana posted Elevation Document and Membership document. Needs to get those posted for review by the house for vote on September Meeting.

New Business

Sister Spikes

She would like to come off Sabbatical. Per our current P&Ps, this is going require a house vote.

Ivana: Motion to take Spikes off sabbatical restore to active status, second by Father Malarkey. No discussion. Passed unanimously.

Padre Hell-hound

Padre submitted a resignation to Sister Sacral via email on July 29, 2025. Father Malarkey read the email contents for the minutes.

Ivana: This is painful, a lot of things have transpired. Ivana doesn’t regret the decision to bring them on, it’s caused damage, but it’s not irreconcilable. We need to stop, collaborate and listen.

One edict: No matter what was said, no matter what we hear, no matter what is done, do not let negative things fly out of our mouth about this person. Do not let this person occupy your brain rent free.

Our official stance, if someone in the community asks, defer it to a novice or founding member. We tried, and at the time, we decided it was best to part ways. If it comes out otherwise, there will be consequences.

Father Malarkey: They would like to add some verbiage to our official statement “We love Rachael, and wish her the best”.

Ivana: Open discussion for it. want to put this to rest. Guard Ian: are we going to to discuss during executive session? Ivana: Might should have held this for executive session Guard Ian: has something to bring up for it during executive session.

Ivana: Someone from KH reached out that they are doing an internal investigation. We are promoting change in our community.

She is proud of each and every one of us. Without us, none of this works.

Ivana: Robert Velasquez has put in a request for us to talk at a KH membership meeting, wants to have us speak. Don’t have dates yet, she will send them out to the house. She would like 3-4 members. Guard Ian: Might be a good opportunity to give a blessing to the KH - Sister Spikes - Bring the dildent.

Sister Spikes

We’re already getting started with next year’s Fairy Godmother project. Want sisters to be involved. Ivana: Please make sure we get it on the calendar ASAP. Spikes: It’s around prom time so it’s almost a year.

Father Malarkey

For meeting with KH, He would like to be present if there is room for him. Would like to get to know them for communications based role. Give them an example of our new mindset of grace.

Ivana: Will update house when we hear back.

Sister Mary Francis

Did everyone get your pins yet? Wants to send one to Kim, Nora, and Traci as well. Ivana: how can we get one to Nora? Nora: Going to be at this address for a while. Can get it to Ivana.

Ian: Confirming they are hard enamel pins and not the buttons we had at PrideFest Mary: Got them donated from a lady on TikTok.

Sister Cersei

Sister Sac asked for re-enlistment with Daddy Neptune. It can be in normal clothes, or makeup/dress. Up to you!

Prep for Executive Session

Ivana thanks our guests for joining us.

Nora challenges them to do research on Radical Fairies. We dedicate ourselves to the mission of promulgating universal joy and expiating stigmatic guilt.

Sister Traci: Request to allow Nora and Her to stay on for executive session since they have some items to discuss. No objection from the house.

Executive Session: (Limit to 10 minutes)

Postulants, Aspirants, and Guests are be excused from the meeting for private discussion by Novices and FPM

Traci: Rolling back mentors in slack. We should not have had them in slack to mentor the whole house. UNPC urges us to remove them from slack, even though they have best intentions. This includes April, Donatella, Dawn,

Ivana: Motion to remove individual big-siblings (non-house level mentors) from slack. Second Father. Sincere discussion regarding appreciating April’s contributions for the house. Motion passes unanimously.

Ivana: Motion to restore Sister Tina from Sabbatical. Second by Sacral. No discussion. Motion passes unanimously.

Vote for Special Election for Board Member at Large. Original vote:

Guard Ian: Need to do a runoff since no candidate received Majority. Will send new poll link with two candidates with the highest number of votes.

Second vote (runoff): Sister Cersei elected as new interim board member at-large, will serve for the remainder of 2025 until new board elected in December.

Sister Traci: She is going to be working on an anti-bullying campaign and intends to reach out to April. Is the house OK with this, any concerns? No concerns from the house, it will be good to have her input.

Ivana: No one had concerns with April herself, only when she lost objectivity. We are grateful for April’s contributions as a mentor, but mutually agreed that it’s in the best interest in the house to give her a break from that position.

Guard Ian: Prior to Rachael’s resignation, we had received several grievances centered around Rachael and some other members of the house. Wanted to make sure the house was aware that the Board heard and were investigating. Ultimately, the resignation satisfied that and we determined that most of the grievances have been addressed through the resignation.

Father Malarkey shared a board recommendation that was drafted prior to Rachael’s resignation that address grievances by recommending a censure and suspension and stated an action plan.

Guard Ian clarified that this is no longer the recommendation of the board, since the resignation satisfied it, the board now recommends archiving this for review by future board members. Sister Ivana: Motion to archive the draft for board recommendation and review by future board members. Second: Father Malarkey No further discussion. Motion passes unanimously.

Sacral: We can work on including some of these action items for returning members in our code of conduct for the P&Ps as well. Need to allow the public to air grievances to us as well if they have them. But at the same time, the whole community doesn’t need to know about our dirty laundry either.
